Hey everyone,
I’ve been dealing with gout flare-ups for a few years now, and they seem to be getting worse. My big toe becomes incredibly painful and swollen, making it hard to walk or even wear shoes. I’m currently taking **allopurinol** to manage my uric acid levels, but I still get flare-ups every few months.
Does anyone have tips on what helps reduce the pain and swelling during a flare-up? I’ve tried ice packs and elevating my foot, but I’m looking for more ideas to get through these painful episodes.
Thanks for any advice!
