I’ve been dealing with chronic vaginal pain for nearly a year now, and it has been a frustrating and isolating experience. The pain is a constant, dull ache that sometimes turns into sharp, burning sensations, especially after sitting for long periods or during physical activity. My doctor initially thought it was vulvodynia, and I’ve been prescribed amitriptyline to help manage the pain. However, the relief has been minimal, and I’m still struggling daily.
I’ve tried a few other treatments, including pelvic floor therapy, but nothing seems to make a significant difference. I’m feeling pretty lost and would love to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences. What treatments or lifestyle changes have worked for you? Are there any specific therapies or medications that provided lasting relief?
