I’ve been dealing with depression for a while, and though I’ve tried traditional treatments like medication and therapy, I’m also exploring alternative therapies to complement my care. I’ve recently started practicing mindfulness meditation and yoga, and it’s been surprisingly helpful in managing my mood swings and anxiety.
I’m curious if anyone here has tried alternative approaches like acupuncture, herbal supplements, or art therapy? How have these worked for you in managing your depression? I’m always looking for new ways to support my mental health and would love to hear your stories.
