Hello community,
I’ve been living with osteoporosis for several years now, and it’s been a challenge to manage the pain and reduce the risk of fractures. My doctor has prescribed **alendronate** to help strengthen my bones, and I’ve been taking calcium and vitamin D supplements regularly. While these have helped, I’m still experiencing some discomfort, especially in my spine.
I’ve found that gentle yoga and tai chi have been really beneficial for improving my balance and flexibility, which helps prevent falls. I’m also trying to stay active with daily walks and light strength training, as recommended by my physical therapist.
For anyone else dealing with osteoporosis, what treatments or lifestyle changes have you found effective? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips for managing pain and improving bone health.
Thanks for sharing!
