Hello community,
I’ve been suffering from sciatica for about a year now, and it’s been quite the journey. After trying various treatments, my doctor recommended physical therapy, which I’ve been doing for the last three months. At first, I was skeptical, but the combination of targeted exercises and stretching has really helped reduce the pain and improve my mobility.
One exercise that has been particularly beneficial is the piriformis stretch. I do it every morning and evening, and it helps relieve the tension in my lower back and buttocks. I’ve also been working on strengthening my core muscles, which my therapist says can help support my spine and reduce sciatic pain.
If you’re dealing with sciatica, I highly recommend giving physical therapy a try. It’s a slow process, but with consistency, it can make a big difference. Stay strong, everyone!
