Non-Surgical Options for Hernia Pain

Hello community,

I’ve been diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia and my doctor has suggested that we try non-surgical treatments first. I’ve been experiencing some discomfort, especially after eating, and I’m wondering if anyone has had success managing hernia pain without surgery. I’m currently on a **proton pump inhibitor** to reduce stomach acid, but I’m looking for additional ways to manage the pain and prevent it from getting worse.

Have any of you tried lifestyle changes, like diet modifications or specific exercises, that have helped? I’m interested in any non-surgical approaches that have been effective for others.

Thanks for your advice!
