Seeking Advice for Acute Groin Strain Recovery

Hi team,

 

I suffered a groin strain during a soccer game last weekend and the recovery has been quite slow. My doctor advised rest, ice, compression, and elevation, but I’m eager to hear if there are additional recovery techniques that have worked for others here. Particularly, has anyone used any specific physical therapy exercises that sped up their recovery? Any advice on how to safely get back into sports would also be greatly appreciated!
