Exploring Alternative Treatments for Trigeminal Neuralgia

Hey all,

I’ve been battling trigeminal neuralgia for a few years, and traditional treatments haven’t worked well for me. I’ve been exploring alternative therapies like **acupuncture** and **biofeedback** to help manage the pain. I’ve noticed that acupuncture, in particular, seems to reduce the frequency and intensity of my pain episodes.

I’m curious if anyone else has tried alternative treatments for trigeminal neuralgia? Did they help? I’m also considering trying **CBD oil** as I’ve heard it can be effective for nerve pain. I’d love to hear any recommendations or personal experiences with non-traditional therapies.

Thanks for sharing your stories!

I started ItHurts.com because, well... pain and I go way back. From mystery aches to “why does my elbow hurt when I blink?” moments, I’ve been through it—and I know you probably have too.

This isn’t your average health site. I mix practical advice with a dose of humor, real product reviews (no fluff), and community stories that hit home. Whether you’re battling plantar fasciitis, back pain, or just tired of Googling “Why does my [insert body part] feel weird?”—you’re in the right place.

I’m not a doctor, but I am your go-to friend who’s done the research, tried the gadgets, and knows the power of a good meme on a bad day.

So, welcome to ItHurts.com—where we believe that support should be smart, relatable, and just a little bit funny.
