Treating Severe Sunburn – What Worked for Me

Treating Severe Sunburn – What Worked for Me Hey everyone, Last summer, I got a severe sunburn on my back and shoulders after spending the entire day at an outdoor festival. It was so painful that I couldn’t even wear a shirt for a few days. After trying a few different remedies, here’s what worked best for me: Aloe Vera Gel: I kept it in the fridge so it was extra cold when applied. It helped soothe the burning sensation. Hydration: I drank a lot of water to keep my skin hydrated from the inside out. Over-the-Counter Pain Relief: I took ibuprofen to help with the pain and reduce inflammation. Moisturizing Lotion: After a few days, when the burn started to peel, I used a gentle, fragrance-free lotion to keep my skin from getting too dry. It took about a week for the worst of it to heal, but these steps definitely helped speed up the recovery. If anyone else has tips for treating a severe sunburn, please share! Managing Sunburn and Preventing Future Burns

Managing Sunburn and Preventing Future Burns Hello community, I just got back from a beach vacation, and unfortunately, I didn’t reapply sunscreen as often as I should have. Now I’m dealing with a painful sunburn on my legs and chest. I’ve been using cold compresses and taking ibuprofen to help with the pain, which seems to be working, but I’m more concerned about preventing this from happening again. For those of you who have fair skin like me, what do you do to prevent sunburns? Are there specific sunscreens or protective clothing that you swear by? I’m planning another trip soon, and I want to make sure I’m better prepared this time! Thanks for any tips you can share. Dealing with Chronic Stomach Pain and Medication

Dealing with Chronic Stomach Pain and Medication Hello community, I’ve been dealing with chronic stomach pain for over a year now, and it’s been really tough. The pain is a dull, constant ache that sometimes turns into a sharp, burning sensation. My doctor prescribed omeprazole and ranitidine to help manage the pain and reduce acid, but I’m still experiencing discomfort. I’ve also tried changing my diet by cutting out spicy foods and caffeine, but there hasn’t been much improvement. Has anyone else had to manage long-term stomach pain with medications? Did you find any particular treatments or lifestyle changes that helped alleviate your symptoms? I’m open to any suggestions or advice on what else I could try. This has been affecting my daily life, and I’m eager to find something that works. Thanks for sharing your experiences! Sudden Stomach Pain – Should I Be Worried?
