Description
Every time a ball hits your racket, or your hands take a hit in a contact sport, the shock travels up your forearm to the elbow. If your elbow is already grumbling, that vibration is often what you notice most. Decathlon’s elbow support is made to reduce it.
Sleeve plus strap
This is a compression sleeve in breathable polyester fabric with an added tightening strap, so you can make it snugger once it is on. A double anti-slip silicone pad runs across the whole inside surface to stop it sliding down mid-game. The anatomical shape includes a comfort zone in the elbow crease, so it does not bunch when you bend your arm. It fits either the right or left elbow.
Find your size
Measure around your forearm 5 cm below the elbow crease:
| Size 1 | 21.5–23.5 cm |
| Size 2 | 23.5–26 cm |
| Size 3 | 26–28 cm |
| Size 4 | 28–30 cm |
It is sold individually, made in China, with a 2-year Decathlon warranty (model 8939017).
Decathlon’s own wearing rules
- Do not wear it for more than 3 hours at a time.
- Tighten firmly, but not so tight that it restricts blood flow. Tingling, numbness or a cold, pale hand means loosen it.
Before you rely on it
If you have an elbow condition or a recent injury, check with a clinician first. A sleeve can make play more comfortable, but grip and forearm strength work, along with technique, usually matter more for elbows that keep flaring up. Elbow pain after a fall, or an elbow you cannot fully straighten, should be examined.
The free ItHurts Pain Check-Up can help you sort out what is behind your elbow pain, and the arm and elbow pain groups are a good place to swap tips.
