Description
Overview
The AGARO BBZ32-DA01 is an automatic upper-arm blood pressure monitor for home use with a dark blue front panel. It measures by the oscillometric method and shows systolic and diastolic pressure in mmHg and the pulse rate on a large LCD. It runs on four AAA alkaline batteries, which are included, and weighs 205 g.
To take a reading, the cuff tube plugs into the socket on the left side of the unit, the cuff is wrapped around the bare upper arm 1 to 2 cm above the elbow, and the user sits or lies with the arm resting on a flat surface so the cuff is level with the heart. One press of the Start/Stop button inflates the cuff automatically and the result appears on the LCD; the user should stay still and quiet during the measurement. The monitor can show an average reading, detects excessive body movement during a measurement and flags an irregular heartbeat. The medium cuff fits arms of 22 to 36 cm (8.7 to 14.2 in) and is latex free.

Things to consider

- Readings depend on correct use: bare arm, cuff 1 to 2 cm above the elbow and level with the heart, sitting still. Follow the manual.
- Unlike the AGARO TMB-2283, no reading memory or time and date display is listed for this model.
- The cuff fits arm circumferences of 22 to 36 cm only, and AGARO’s page does not state a warranty period or mains adapter.
