Overview
Sirona’s Recover & Relax lotion is a body lotion with magnesium chloride at a 10% concentration, sold in a 300 ml (10.14 fl oz) brown pump bottle. Alongside the magnesium it carries lavender and geranium essential oils, a ceramide complex (ceramides NP, AP, AS, NG and EOP), shea butter, hemp seed oil, aloe vera, chamomile flower extract and eucalyptus leaf oil. Sirona uses magnesium chloride rather than Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), so no soaking is involved.
It is applied to clean, dry skin and massaged in; Sirona suggests the arms, legs, calves, feet and lower back and recommends body use only, not the face. The lotion is dermatologically tested and made by Sirona Hygiene in Gurugram, India. Sirona’s own page notes that scientific evidence for meaningful absorption of magnesium through the skin remains unsubstantiated.

- Body use only: Sirona advises against using it on the face and on broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin, and says to avoid the eyes.
