Description
Overview
Cicaplast Baume B5+ is La Roche-Posay’s multi-purpose barrier balm, here in the 100 ml tube (a 40 ml size also exists). The fragrance-free formula contains 5% panthenol (vitamin B5), madecassoside from Centella asiatica, the Tribioma prebiotic complex, zinc and manganese gluconates, shea butter and glycerin. It has a rich but non-greasy texture and forms an invisible protective layer over the skin.
It is a cosmetic, not a medicine, and can be applied to the face, body and lips of adults, children and babies from 3 months, avoiding the eye-contour area. La Roche-Posay recommends cleansing first, applying the balm, and finishing a daytime facial routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen. The maker describes it as hypoallergenic and tested under dermatological, ophthalmological and paediatric control.
