Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel is a clear, lightweight gel made from freshly cut whole-leaf aloe grown in Southern Texas, rather than reconstituted powder. Organic aloe barbadensis leaf makes up 98.7% of the formula, and it is thickened with agar, a seaweed-derived thickener, instead of xanthan gum or carbomer, so it absorbs quickly without a sticky film.
Shake the bottle, apply the gel directly to the skin and let it air-dry. Seven Minerals lists it for after-sun and after-shave care, daily face and body moisture, and hair and scalp care; it can also be mixed into lotions, massage oils, shampoos and conditioners, or worn under makeup. It needs no refrigeration and comes in a 12 fl oz (355 mL) bottle whose body is made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET.
