Overview
Anusol Soothing & Cleansing Wipes are single-use flushable wipes for cleansing the anal area, sold in a pack of 30. The formula is naturally derived and based on four plant extracts: witch hazel, aloe vera, chamomile and calendula. Anusol describes the wipes as cleansing and cooling, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, hypoallergenic and biodegradable.
They are a hygiene product with a cosmetic ingredient list, not a medicine. Anusol says they are used after a bowel movement in place of toilet paper, or to cleanse the area before applying a cream, ointment or suppository. Each wipe is used once; up to two can be flushed at a time, and the pack is resealed to stop the wipes drying out.
