Description
KT Tape Original is a cotton kinesiology tape designed to stay in place for 1-3 days, including through showers, humidity, cold and the pool. The elastic core is made to support muscles, joints and tendons without restricting comfort or range of motion. People often reach for tape like this around the forearm and elbow, though KT Tape notes its products are not clinically proven for all injuries.
Each box contains 20 pre-cut strips, 10 inches long and 2 inches wide, ready to apply straight out of the box. The strips have rounded corners, which help keep the edges from catching on clothing or fraying. A Quick Start Guide with step-by-step instructions for common injuries is included.
The tape contains natural cotton fibers and is latex-free, hypoallergenic and natural rubber-free, meaning it has been developed to contain fewer substances that can trigger allergic reactions. KT Tape still recommends that anyone with sensitive skin or a tendency toward irritation test a small piece, applied with no stretch, on tougher skin such as the knee or forearm first.
