Description
KT Tape Pro is a 100% synthetic kinesiology tape that comes pre-cut and ready to apply out of the box. Each box holds 20 strips measuring 10 inches by 2 inches, with rounded corners intended to keep edges from catching on clothing or fraying. A Quick Start Guide with step-by-step instructions for common injuries is included.
The synthetic performance fibers are described as fast-drying and water resistant, and KT Tape says the tape can be worn in the shower, in the pool, or at the beach. The adhesive is formulated to stay in place for 4 to 7 days, and the elastic core is designed to hold its stretch and recoil over time compared with cotton kinesiology tape.
Some people use kinesiology tape on the forearm and elbow area for support during activity. KT Tape notes its products are hypoallergenic, latex-free and natural rubber-free, and recommends that anyone with sensitive skin test a small piece applied with no stretch on tougher skin, such as the knee or forearm, before wider use. The brand also states its support and pain-relief claims are not clinically proven for all injuries.
