Description
KT Tape Original is a cotton kinesiology tape that comes pre-cut and ready to apply straight out of the box. Each roll contains 20 strips, 10 inches long and 2 inches wide, with rounded corners that help keep the edges from catching on clothing or fraying.
The elastic core is designed to deliver support for muscles, joints and tendons without restricting comfort and range of motion. According to the manufacturer, the adhesive is made to stay in place for 1 to 3 days through showers, humidity, cold and the pool. Some people use kinesiology tape like this on the forearm and elbow area during workouts and everyday activity.
The tape contains natural cotton fibres and is described as hypoallergenic, latex-free and natural rubber-free, meaning it has been developed to contain fewer potential substances that can trigger allergic reactions. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation, the manufacturer suggests testing a small piece applied with no stretch on tougher skin such as the knee or forearm first. The box also includes a Quick Start Guide with step-by-step instructions for common injuries. Note that the product is not clinically proven for all injuries.
