About this product

Overview

The Microlife NC 200 measures forehead temperature without touching the skin. Hold it towards the forehead: a blue tracking light marks the measurement area, a self-indicator light on the back shows when the distance is right, and once the device detects it is within 5 cm it takes the reading by itself, with a countdown on the display, in about 3 seconds. The mode button switches between forehead, object and ambient temperature and between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

The large illuminated display shows the date and time, and the last 30 readings are stored with their date and time. Sound can be switched off for silent readings at night, and the display lights red (Silent Glow technology) when a reading is above 37.4 °C. It runs on two AAA alkaline batteries, which are included, and Lir’s page states a 5-year manufacturer guarantee. The NC 200 received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018.
