Description
Overview
The Campster II is a minimalist camping chair made for outdoor adventures, beach trips, festivals and RV camping. A redesigned frame spreads the centre of gravity for a more stable, durable chair that stays solid on grass, sand or gravel, while the ergonomic shape and 30 cm/12" seating height are designed to make getting in and out easy.
Setup takes seconds: hold the carabiner, open the velcro, let gravity do the work and pull the three corners. The one-piece design folds down to roughly the size of a 1.5 litre bottle and comes with a shoulder strap carrying case, so it stores in the car or packs out on a hike. This listing is the orange colour (also made in black); accessories including a seat warmer, bottle holder and ground sheet are sold separately.

What’s in the box
- Campster II chair (Orange)
- Shoulder strap carrying case
- S-carabiner
Good for
- Festivals, concerts and events where you’d otherwise stand for hours
- Beach days, picnics and park outings
- Camping, RV trips and hikes to a campsite
- Keeping in the car for spur-of-the-moment stops and rest breaks
Things to consider
- One owner found the seat narrow, so check the fit if you prefer a wider chair.
- Pull only the frame corners as instructed rather than the seat mounts when setting up.
- At a low 30 cm/12" seating height, it sits closer to the ground than a dining-height chair — worth considering if you find low seats hard to rise from.
- If you have an ongoing back or neck condition, check with a clinician about the seating that suits you.
