Description
One night your lower back wants a pillow under your knees. The next you need to sleep propped up because of a cold, and on the weekend you want to read in bed without a pile of cushions behind you. REATHLETE’s EasyNest tackles all of that with three foam pieces you can arrange in different ways.
Ten ways to set it up
REATHLETE calls it a 10-in-1 design. The pieces combine into:
- A gentle sloped back rest for sleeping, reading or working in bed.
- Head and neck support.
- Lumbar support while resting on the couch or in bed.
- A knee or ankle rest.
- A leg elevation pillow.
REATHLETE says it suits back, side and stomach sleepers and a wide range of body sizes.
Materials and care
The pieces are memory foam, which shapes to you and is designed to keep its form over time. The covers come off for machine washing. In the box are the three pillows and an instruction manual.
First-night tip
Memory foam arrives compressed. Give it time to expand fully in a well-ventilated room before you use it. REATHLETE’s setup guide says 24 to 48 hours, while its FAQ says 12 to 24, so the longer window is the safer bet.
Where it falls short
Three pieces take up space. When you are only using one or two, the others need somewhere to live. If you want a single fixed wedge, a one-piece design may be simpler.
Check first if
You are recovering from surgery or have a back or neck condition. Your clinician can tell you what sleeping angle suits you. Back pain that keeps you awake every night, or comes with fever or leg weakness, needs medical attention.
The free Pain Check-Up can help you understand what your back needs, and the back and neck pain groups are full of people trading sleep setups.
