Description
Overview
The Sitpack 2.0 is a compact portable folding stool: roughly the size of a 50 cl can, 0.6 kg light, and made from glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate. It unfolds in about five seconds, adjusts in height to suit different users, and has an embracing seat with pockets, so it slips into a bag and comes out whenever standing around starts to feel like too much.
This listing is the Pitch Black colour; Sitpack also makes it in Easy Blue, Grass Green, Pearl White and Green Camo. It ships with one interchangeable anti-slip rubber foot. Sitpack is a Danish company with roots in successful Kickstarter and IndieGoGo campaigns since 2014, and orders ship in fully recycled carton boxes.

What’s in the box
- Sitpack 2.0 portable folding stool (Pitch Black)
- One interchangeable anti-slip rubber foot
Good for
- Long queues at events, museums and galleries
- Waiting around at train stations and on travel days
- Standing for long periods at work or on the sidelines of kids’ sports
- Taking short seated breaks outdoors or while camping
- Anyone who wants a perch that packs into a backpack
Things to consider
- Fully extended it may feel tall for shorter users — one reviewer shortens it by a level before sitting.
- It’s a perching stool rather than a chair, so it suits short breaks rather than all-day seating.
- If you have an ongoing knee, leg or back condition, check with a clinician before changing how you sit or rest.
