Description
The Echo Flask is a rechargeable 12 oz (354 ml) bottle that dissolves hydrogen gas into your drinking water. We list it in our hydration section; Echo makes no pain claims for it, and neither do we. If you are curious about hydrogen water, here are the facts Echo gives.
How it works
A generator in the base uses electrolysis. A Nafion proton exchange membrane (PEM) sits between platinum-coated titanium plates; hydrogen passes into the water and the oxygen produced is vented through a port in the base. Echo states the plates do not touch the drinking water. Citing third-party testing by H2 Analytics, Echo states up to 6 ppm of dissolved hydrogen after a 10-minute cycle and up to 8 ppm after a 20-minute cycle.
Controls and tracking
Start, schedule, pause, shorten or stop cycles on a small touchscreen on the side, or in the Echo Water app over Bluetooth. The app logs water intake, hydrogen intake and cycles, and connects to Apple Health and Android Health.
