Description
Overview
The ECHO H2 combines filtration and hydrogen infusion in a single machine, so nothing extra is needed upstream. A WQA-certified 5-stage cartridge addresses chlorine, heavy metals, particulates, iron and hydrogen sulfide, microorganisms, scale, taste and odor, and is rated for 1,056 gallons — roughly a year for most households. The hydrogen cell then dissolves 99.99% pure molecular hydrogen into the filtered water at up to 1.44 ppm, with no ionization and no change to pH.
It installs two ways. On the counter it is a ten-minute set-up with no plumber: connect it to the cold line, plug it in and it pours through its own flexible spout. Under the sink it lives in the cabinet and feeds the Echo H2 Faucet, a secondary tap beside your main one.

What’s in the box
- ECHO H2 machine with 5-stage filter cartridge
- Diverter valve and water source connection tube
- Water spout and elbow
- Teflon tape and fitting spanner
Good for
- Keeping up a steady daily drinking-water habit at home
- Filling a water bottle at the 1.2 L/min spout
- Households that want filtered water and hydrogen water from one tap
- Kitchens where a dedicated second tap or a small countertop unit makes sense
Things to consider
- Connect it to the cold water line only (41–84 °F, 10–71 psi).
- A replacement cartridge is needed roughly once a year; an optional cleaning cartridge is available for the hydrogen cell.
- Under-counter installation requires the Echo H2 Faucet (not included with this option), a spare ¹⁵⁄₁₆–1 in countertop hole and 14.5 in of clear cabinet height.
- A light crackling or buzzing sound during use is normal, Echo says. If you take medication or have a health condition, ask your healthcare professional first.
