Description
Overview
Icing a back is awkward: the area is broad and flat, hard to reach, and holding something against it usually means lying down. This wrap handles the holding part. The premium Plush™ neoprene shell closes around the torso and its tension presses the ice cell against the lower back, so you can stand, sit or walk around while the cold is on.
The ice cell is ultra-thin, antimicrobial and 10 × 10 in, with a patented air-release valve: fill it, press the air out, close it, and the cell flattens to the shape of your back. Nothing charges and nothing plugs in. Empty, wrap and cell together weigh 1.5 lbs, and the cell lifts out so the shell can be machine washed on its own.

What’s in the box
- Hyperice Back wrap
- Ice cell — 10 × 10 in container for housing ice
Good for
- Everyday lower back soreness when you’d rather not lie down to hold an ice pack in place
- Cooling off after training, a long drive or a day on your feet
- Desk-bound afternoons where stiffness builds up across the lower back
- Travel, hotel stays and away fixtures — folds into a bag and refills from any freezer
Things to consider
- Cold comes from ice you add yourself, so you need freezer access to use it.
- No torso circumference range or fit chart is published, and there is only one size — worth weighing if you need certainty on fit.
- No recommended session length is published. Follow any icing guidance from your clinician, keep a layer between the cell and bare skin if the cold feels sharp, and remove it if the area loses sensation.
- No compression pressure figure or ice cell fill capacity is published; fill it to the point where it still lies flat once air is released.
