The Elbow Helix is body helix’s shorter elbow compression sleeve, described by the maker as ideal when the extra length of their Full Elbow sleeve isn’t needed. Some people use it for golfer’s and tennis elbow, arthritis of the elbow, and minor swelling. This listing is for the medium size in royal blue.
The sleeve is built with a closed-cell synthetic rubber core with high-stretch fabric on the inside and outside layers, and a six-thread flatlock seam. It is 3 mm thick with a 20-30 mmHg compression level, and it’s latex free. According to body helix, it’s designed not to limit range of motion, to lock to the skin rather than slip, and to avoid bulky straps and buckles. The closed-cell foam core is described as not absorbing odor and bacteria, and the sleeve is machine wash and dry.
Sizing matters here. The small Elbow Helix is 6″ long, the medium is 7.5″ and the large is 8.5″. body helix advises measuring your bicep 1 inch above the crease in the elbow with a straight arm — not your forearm — and checking the sizing chart in the product images before ordering.
